"Peter De Cleyn lives with his family in Huppaye (Walloon Brabant). The house was built in 1837. In this region it was also customary to use the excavated earth from the cellar to make bricks. These were baked on site. De Cleyn made some small sculptures with Huppaye's earth. He gave them a wish: Et in terra pax, Peace on earth. And this can also be read as: 'In peaceful earth'…"
